What is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA)? A Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a globally recognized professional certification for individuals working in the fields of accounting and financial management. The CMA certification is awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and signifies a high level of expertise in financial management, cost accounting, strategic planning, and other areas of management accounting. CMA Course Content The first part of the CMA course focuses on Financial Planning, Performance, and Analytics. Topics covered in this part and their respective weightage in the curriculum are: 15% External Financial Reporting Decisions 20% Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting 20% Performance Management 15% Cost Management 15% Internal Controls 15% Technology and Analysis Program Benefits The program consists of 100 training hours and is offered both in-person and online. Each lecture is accompanied by practical exercises, and you will receive ongoing support from your instructor until your exam. The program uses Hock International's comprehensive materials, which include detailed explanations, hundreds of practice exercises, and a question bank with over 4,000 questions. We will prepare you for the exam by providing simulated tests that replicate the official exam format. Additional lectures will teach you how to approach the exam, understand the exam format and sections, manage your time effectively, and handle complex calculations without stress. You have the freedom to choose your preferred learning mode: in-person or online. The Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) may reimburse your program fees after you pass the exam and meet their requirements.
